Welcome to Vihaan 8.0, North India’s largest hackathon, organized by IEEE DTU. Over the past eight years, this dynamic 24-hour event has evolved into a hub of innovation, bringing together cutting-edge technology, boundless creativity, and collaborative teamwork.

Teams of upto four participants will compete to develop groundbreaking solutions tackling real-world challenges across diverse and impactful tracks. With a strong focus on both hardware and software domains, Vihaan 8.0 encourages participants to push the boundaries of innovation—whether by designing intelligent hardware prototypes or developing sophisticated software applications.
This year’s theme, “Bharat @ 2047: A Vision for New India,” envisions a self-reliant and technologically advanced nation. Through mentorship from industry experts and hands-on experience, participants will refine their technical skills, gain crucial insights, and contribute to India’s technological growth.

Beyond the thrill of competition, Vihaan 8.0 offers participants the opportunity to win exciting cash prizes and exclusive rewards. The adrenaline of non-stop innovation, the synergy among teammates, and the excitement of problem-solving make this hackathon an unforgettable experience.
